Pharmacia & Upjohn has launched four strengths of cytarabine solution for injection in Cytosafe polypropylene vials (net price, 5 100mg/ml £19.50, 1 500mg/25ml £19.50, 1 1g/10ml £39, 1 2g/20ml £77.50). The company says that the new vials bounce instead of breaking if dropped.
