Mr Martin Bennett, MRPharmS, has been appointed as a non-executive director of the Prescription Pricing Authority for a second three-year term.
Mr Bennett is chairman and managing director of Associated Chemists (Wicker) in Sheffield.
In addition, two new non-executive directors have been appointed. They are Mrs Anne Galbraith and Dr Mohammed Ali. Mrs Galbraith is a health and education consultant and was, until 1997, chairman of the Royal Victoria Infirmary Trust, Newcastle. Dr Ali is chief executive of Quest for Economic Development Ltd, an inner city development agency aimed at improving the economic success of minority ethnic communities - based in Bradford.
