From Mr M. Howells, MRPharmS
SIR,—I would like to take this opportunity to ask when the Society is going to use some of our "cash" to better the life of the pharmacist. Every time I do a locum I am appalled that companies are still allowed to let us, and expect us to, work eight, nine or even 12 hours without lunch breaks.
Is there not some EC directive that prevents such practice? Should the Society not be using some of these monies actually to look after the welfare of its members?
