"Over to you" hits the road again in May

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society is to hold three further "Over to you" roadshows in May.
The roadshows - part of the Society's Pharmacy in a New Age initiative - will take place on consecutive evenings. The first, in Cambridge on May 15, is for members living in the Society's Anglia region. On May 16, pharmacists in the West Midlands region will have their roadshow in Birmingham. And on May 17, the roadshow moves south to Winchester for those in the Wessex region. Pharmacists with registered addresses in those three regions were being sent more detailed information about the venues and times this week.
As at previous roadshows, the multimedia presentation will include short talks by pharmacists who have been involved in local projects inspired by the Pharmacy in a New Age initiative. The Society says: "With local pioneering pharmacists on board, the roadshows aim to help pharmacists explore the art of the possible and meet the new challenges and demands in the fast moving world of pharmacy."
An addition to the roadshow programme will be a performance by the Loud Mouth Educational Theatre company, which uses theatre to explore health education. The theatre company's presentation will examine the challenges, demands and barriers that pharmacies face in their working lives.
Roadshows have already taken place in Scotland and Wales and most other regions in England. Pharmacists in the two remaining regions - Chiltern and South East England - are to be invited to a roadshow on Sunday, June 25, which will include a boat trip on the Thames.
