Medeva Pharma Ltd has launched Equasym tablets (methylphenidate hydrochloride) in a range of scored 5mg, 10mg and 25mg strengths (net price, 30 5mg £2.78, 10mg £4.99, 20mg £9.98). The company says that Equasym is pharmaceutically equivalent to the only other currently available methylphenidate hydrochloride brand and has been launched "to resolve traditional dosing problems."
Equasym tablets are available from Medeva Pharma in 5mg, 10mg and 20mg strengths and not 25mg as stated
