Bard Ltd has launched Interglide, a single use, intermittent catheter, which is available on the Drug Tariff. The company says that the catheter has the ability to fully hydrate in 30 seconds and its coating has been formulated to allow smooth insertion and removal. The catheter is available in a range of sizes for men, women and children (net price, 25 £30.56) and can be attached to a Uriplan leg bag.
