Pharmacy has succeeded in getting a representative in one of the action teams formed by the Government to help it decide how to modernise the National Health Service. Professor Alison Blenkinsopp (professor of the practice of pharmacy, Keele university) was appointed to the patient care (empowerment) action team in time to attend its first meeting on April 12.
