SIR,-In 1989 you published my "Ode to apathy" which stated: "28 per cent - the voting is less/Apathy reigns supreme" (PJ, July 8, 1989, p36).
Eleven years later, the number of voting papers returned has sunk to 19.6 per cent. What does this tell us about the single transferable vote and pharmacy as a profession?
