One successful motion related to the British Pharmaceutical Conference. Proposed by the Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan branch, it said that "to facilitate the success of the British Pharmaceutical Conference in the future there should be a closer relationship between the host branch and the Society".
Proposing the motion, Mrs JUNE JENKINS said that the BPC was a forum for interchange and updating of information in the field of pharmacy. Part of its value lay in its itinerant nature, and a lack of local input made it the poorer. Closer and earlier communication between the host branch and the conference organising committee would make for a better conference.
Mr MICHAEL MITCHELL (Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan) seconded the motion.
The motion was carried.
