IPMI AGM The Institute of Pharmacy Management International will be holding its annual general meeting at the Posthouse hotel, Crick, Northamptonshire (off junction 18 of the M1) at noon on June 25. Nominations are invited for the institute's council, with seven vacancies to be contested this year. CPP election Dr Angela Alexander, Mr Muhammad Asghar and Mrs Joy Wingfield have been elected as governors of the College of Pharmacy Practice. They will serve for three years.

Boots election A new executive committee for the Boots Pharmacists Association was elected at its recent annual general meeting. The new committee comprises: Peter Walker (chairman), Stan Wheatley (chairman, professional standing committee), Phillip Yelling (deputy, professional standing committee), Martin Cotgreave (chairman, remuneration standing committee), Kate Hingston (deputy, remuneration standing committee), Alan Tobias (honorary secretary), Alan Mentiplay (honorary treasurer), Phil Mulholland (public relations officer), Lindsay Whitlock (recruitment officer), Claire Wallwork (deputy recruitment officer), Charles Smallwood (general secretary). Mr Peter Walker has been awarded honorary life membership of the association.
