Society meetings

Sterilisation The Royal Pharmaceutical Society is holding a three-day residential course on "Validation of sterilisation and aseptic processes" at the Stakis hotel, Bath from June 14 to 16.
The course will cover the current methods of validating the manufacture of terminally sterilised and aseptically prepared liquid pharmaceuticals. Presentations will cover types and sources of contamination, evaluation of microbial destruction data, principles of validation and sterilisation, validation of sterilisation and aseptic processes, form-fill-seal technology, regulatory aspects of process validation, and parametric release.
The course fees are £1,128 for members of the Society or the Academy of Pharmaceutical Scientists and £1,163.25 for non-members and include two nights bed and breakfast, lunch and evening meal, refreshments and course documentation.
