From Mr W. J. Ambler, MRPharm
SIR,-When I was young, a few years ago now I admit, we learned that the most effective contraception was to say "no". Are we now so enslaved by our desires and passions that we are incapable of saying no to anything?
I always understood that one of the functions of a professional person was to give a lead in aspects of life, moral and otherwise, not simply to rescue people from the consequences of their own actions.
Just a thought!
W. J. Ambler
