Accuracy of titles

From Dr B. Wells, MRPharmS

SIR,-There was a problem with the name badges and list of attendees at the recent branch representatives' meeting. In particular, there was a serious shortage of "Drs", the titles of many having been revoked at a stroke by whoever printed the badges and attendees list.
This probably accounted for the incorrect titles given to some speakers in The Journal's report of the proceedings. In the case of Hull branch, Dr Andrew Hersom was deprived of his correct title, as was Dr Michael Jepson from Birmingham who seconded our joint motion. Dr Anthony Pugh from Brighton suffered a similar fate.
It would be appreciated if The Journal could get the titles of participants and speakers right when reporting pharmacy events.
