The British Pharmaceutical Students Association is to raise money for the International Pharmaceutical Students Federation's Neema project by holding a sponsored abseil down the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's Lambeth headquarters on July 1.
The association is aiming to raise at least £5,000 towards the project. Participants will have to seek their own sponsorship and pay a £10 fee to cover insurance and expert instruction.
Details are available from Miss Lindsay McClure on 0411 323769 (e-mail NeemaBPSA@aol.com).
The Neema project has built, and runs, a dispensary at Kiromo, Tanzania. The aim now is to extend the dispensary building to provide a mother and child health centre.
