The first five in the above list were elected to the committee. The number of voting papers returned was 239, of which six were invalid.
The Statutory Committee will meet at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, 1 Lambeth High Street, London SE1 7JN, on Tuesday, June 13, at 10am, to hear (1) an application for restoration from a person whose name has been removed from the register, and (2) an inquiry into a complaint by the Council of the Society against a pharmacist which alleges that the pharmacist's sales of large quantities of a medicine with a known potential for misuse amounts to misconduct.
The Statutory Committee will further meet on Wednesday, June 14, at 10am, to hear (3) an inquiry into a complaint by the Council of the Society against a pharmacist which alleges that dispensing errors and the pharmacist's failure to ensure safe and accurate dispensing and checking practices amount to misconduct, and (4) an application for restoration from a person whose name has been removed from the register.
The Statutory Committee will further meet on Thursday, June 15, at 10am, to hear (5) an inquiry into the case of a pharmacist convicted on two occasions of driving with an alcohol level that exceeded the prescribed limit. In addition, there is a complaint by the Council of the Society which alleges misconduct based on the pharmacist's conduct at work.
