Smithkline Beecham is launching Lactacyd Femina, a range of three "feminine intimate care" products. The range includes: a daily protective wash (retail price, 300ml £4.75); soft cleansing tissues (retail price, 10 sachets £2.49) and active replenishing wash (retail price, 250ml £5.99). The products contain lactic acid which the company says helps maintain the natural pH balance of the vaginal area, providing protection against irritation. The range is expected to be available from the end of June/early July.
