Fresenius Kabi has introduced Painbuster, a pain management system designed to deliver a continuous analgesic infusion directly into the wound site for up to two days after surgery. The system includes a disposable Eclipse infusion pump, a needle catheter introducer, a 20 gauge x 100cm catheter set and a 60cc syringe (net price, 1 system £45).
