Mr Steven Duncan has been appointed managing director and superintendent pharmacist of Moss Pharmacy, the retail division of Alliance Unichem Plc.
Mr Duncan joined Moss in 1974. He was appointed to the board in 1991 as buying and distribution director. He was marketing director from 1992 to 1997, subsequently becoming operations director. He took up his new position on July 3.
Mr Duncan succeeds Mr Barry Andrews as managing director. Mr Andrews becomes executive chairman of Moss and continues as retail director and chairman of the northern Europe business performance committee of Alliance Unichem. Mr Duncan succeeds Mrs Caryl Webb as superintendent pharmacist. Mrs Webb has stepped down after 25 years with Moss, starting as a preregistration trainee and finishing as director of training and personnel. Mr Andrew Porter has been appointed director of human resources.

Steven Duncan
