Retirement

Mr and Mrs Arscott Graham Arscott (the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's house manager) and his wife Irene retired from the Society on June 30. Mr Arscott joined the Society in 1986 after 22 years in the army. He told colleagues at a retirement presentation that he had been offered two jobs on leaving the army. One had been as an assistant mortician. The other had been at the Society. He thought he had made the right choice! Mrs Arscott joined the Society in 1977 as a junior clerk and ended her career as accounts supervisor.
