Roche Products has recalled the following batches of Rocaltrol (calcitriol) 0.25µg capsules, pack size 100: B008, expiry date September, 2000; B011, expiry date October, 2000; B029, expiry date September, 2001 and B1016, expiry date June, 2002. The company says that this is because, during stability testing, samples from these batches have been found to be below specification with respect to the content of the active ingredient. Recipients are requested to quarantine stock from these batches and contact Roche Customer Services (tel 0800 7315711).
