Pharmacy Interact reaches 30,000

The National Pharmaceutical Association has now enrolled over 30,000 people on its Pharmacy Interact training course for community pharmacy counter assistants.
Mr Rakesh Kumar, from Birmingham, was the 30,000th person to be enrolled on the course. He started on the fast-track option during June. The course has now been completed by 15,000 pharmacy assistants. Ms Shazeen Kauser, from Hustan's Chemist, Birmingham, was the 15,000th person to complete the course successfully.
Mr Kumar and Ms Kausser received commemorative teapots, champagne and flowers at an NPA members' evening in Birmingham on June 30.
