CP Pharmaceuticals Mr Ian Williams, MRPharmS, took up the position of technical manager at CP Pharmaceuticals Ltd on June 1. He is responsible for providing technical and validation support to the manufacturing department. Mr Williams was formerly quality manager and latterly compliance manager at CCL Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
Glaxo Wellcome Sir Richard Sykes, executive chairman of Glaxo Wellcome, is to take up the position of rector of Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine in January, 2001. Sir Richard will become non-executive chairman of Glaxo Smithkline when the merger of Glaxo Wellcome and Smithkline Beecham is completed.
