Lamictal-Lamisil dispensing confusion reported

Glaxo Wellcome has written to pharmacists in the United States to alert them to reports of dispensing errors involving confusion between Lamictal and Lamisil.
The company says that confusion between the anti-epileptic drug (Lamictal, lamotrigine) and the antifungal drug (Lamisil, terbinafine) has resulted in serious adverse events.
