From Mr D. Brint, MRPharmS
SIR,-I suggest to "Onlooker" that "carpe diem" ("seize the day") is a suitable translation for "no time like the present" (PJ, July 22, p114). This is not a 100 per cent match, but it has served me well in life, as has a bit of sage advice seen on a galenical stockpot: "Keep cool, agitate occasionally."
