Category D will still apply to all August prescriptions, even though the regulation changes for generic prices apply from August 3, the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee has announced. There are 39 products in Category D for August. The PSNC and the National Health Service Executive are still discussing the arrangements that will apply from September.
