Boehringer Ingelheim will be discontinuing Berotec (fenoterol) 100µg and 200µg metered dose inhalers (MDIs) and Alupent (orciprenaline) MDI and refill pack at the end of this year. The company says that this is because of the transition to CFC-free inhalers. Alupent syrup and tablets will continue to be available as usual.
