Karvol vaporiser has been launched by Crookes Healthcare. The vaporiser unit plugs into an "ordinary" socket and is supplied with a "refill" bottle containing a combination of menthol, cinnamon and pine oils. The company says that the vaporiser works by releasing natural vapours into the air, which help children to breathe more easily. The unit has an illuminated on/off switch, childproof lock to prevent accidental removal of the "refill" bottle, and is suitable for children over the age of three months (retail price, £6.99). Additional "refills" are available (retail price, £3.79). Each one lasts for up to 10 nights (eight-hour nightly usage).
