The storage conditions stated on packs of Alliance Pharmaceuticals's Syntocinon (oxytocin) ampoules 5iu/ml have been updated. The packs now state that the ampoules should be stored between 2 and 8C. They may be stored at up to 30C for three months, but must then be discarded. The packs for the 10iu/ml ampoules will be updated as from October, says the company.
