Queen's Awards 2001 Applications and nominations are now being invited for the Queen's Award for Enterprise 2001. The award recognises outstanding achievements, by businesses of any size, in international trade, innovation or sustainable development. The sustainable development category, which is new for 2001, is for achievements benefiting the environment, society and the wider economy. Winners are entitled to use the newly redesigned Queen's Award emblem on corporate and promotional materials. The winners will be announced on April 21, 2001.
