Omni Nutraceuticals has launched two new products: Mobilyzer capsules and Kolestop tablets. Mobilyzer capsules, for joint-care management, contain Perna canaliculus (green-lipped muscle) 500mg, a source of eicosatetraenoic acids (price, 60 £19.95). The recommended dose is two capsules daily. Kolestop tablets contain plant sterols - beta-sitosterol and beta-sitostanol - which the company says "help to reduce serum cholesterol levels." Recommended dose is three tablets twice daily, which can be reduced to three tablets daily after two to three weeks (price, 60 £12.95). The company hopes to make both products, which are currently available by mail order from Omni Nutraceuticals (tel 01480 403768), available in pharmacies.
