Snor-Away spray, for "instant relief" from snoring, has been launched by Medicines International. The product contains five oils (olive, sunflower, peppermint, almond and sesame), vitamins B6, C and E and has a fresh mint flavour. The company says that the oils coat the mucous membrane of the tongue, soft pallet and uvula, which quietens or stops snoring. Snor-Away should be used 30 minutes before going to bed. The head should be tilted back and two sprays applied to the back of the throat and held for 15-20 seconds. One application is claimed to last for six to eight hours. Users should not eat or drink after an application, says the company (retail price, 60ml £12.95). Inquires can be made to Medicines International, 10 Stroud Road, Kelvin Industrial Estate, East Kilbride G75 0YA (tel 01355 243091, fax 01355 235452).
