Schwarz Pharma is introducing Moraxen, a controlled release, morphine sulphate hydrogel suppository. The company says that the product provides 24-hour pain relief from a single dose. It will be available in packs of seven with a tube of aqueous lubricating gel (net price, 35mg £10, 50mg £10.50, 75mg £15.75, 100mg £21). Further details will be published in next week's Journal.
