SIR,-I fully support the view of Mervyn Madge (PJ, August 26, p294) over the need to retain editorial freedom of The Pharmaceutical Journal editor.
It would be a sad day if undue pressure was to be brought to bear by individual Council members or if The Pharmaceutical Journal became the mouthpiece of the Council or Lambeth bureaucrats.
