Welsh savings campaign

North Wales health authority has launched a campaign to try to reduce the waste of unused medicines, which it currently estimates to be worth £2m a year.
When collecting repeat prescriptions, patients are to be asked to tell the general medical practitioner or receptionist if particular items are not needed because they already have enough at home or because they are no longer taken them.
