Glaxo Wellcome will be discontinuing Leukeran 5mg tablets (chlorambucil) when existing stocks are exhausted, which is estimated to be by January, 2001. This follows the introduction of a reformulated Leukeran 2mg tablet (PJ, June 3). The company says that it will also be discontinuing Alkeran 5mg tablets (melphalan), estimated to be by summer 2001, following reformulation of Alkeran 2mg tablets n Bristol-Myers Squibb has discontinued Nystadermal cream 15g (nystatin 100,000 units/g, triamcinolone acetonide 0.1 per cent w/w). Existing stocks are expected to be exhausted by the end of October.
