Complacency and false fears about side effects could cause vaccination levels to fall dangerously low, according to a report published by the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry on September 13. The report — “Prevention is better than cure” — warns that infectious diseases that have been eradicated in Britain might return if vaccine use is curtailed.
