Lloyds starts TV advertising

Lloyds Pharmacy has started running its first television advertisements. The £1m campaign will be shown in the HTV and Meridian regions until Christmas.
The main 40-second commercial focuses on the role of the pharmacist at Lloyds Pharmacy. It was shot on location in north east England and the Scottish borders. A series of 10-second product commercials highlight four areas to be marketed over the autumn period: baby products, vitamins, winter remedies and Christmas fragrances.
The current campaign is a pilot to test customer reaction ahead of the advertisements being shown nationally next year. Comparisons will be made between branches in areas where the advertisements are being shown and where they are not. The company has now rebranded all of its branches under the Lloyds Pharmacy name.
