From Mr A. Nathan,
FRPharmS
SIR,Ms Joanna Lumb (a senior assistant editor on The Journal) leaves
her post this week after more than 20 years service to embark on a new
career as a freelance medical and pharmaceutical journalist. Joanna has been
the editor in charge of The Journals clinical content, and also introduced
and developed the highly successful programme of continuing education articles.
She has also been involved in the setting up and running of offshoot Journal
publications, including the International Journal of Pharmacy Practice. Joanna
has worked with a total, yet quiet, dedication to her job and has always been
very modest about her contribution to The Journals success.
I am sure that the many contributors who have had the pleasure of working with
Joanna, and the many more readers of your journal who have benefited from the
results of her work, would like to join with me in thanking her and wishing
her the best for the future.
