Pharmacy internet site Private-Rx is seeking the views of pharmacists on the
pharmacy plan for England, unveiled by Lord Hunt (Parliamentary Under-Secretary
of State for Health) at the British Pharmaceutical Conference (PJ, September
16, p384), through
an online survey.
The survey has been designed by Dr Angela Alexander, a pharmacy research consultant.
Each initiative outlined in the paper “Pharmacy in the future — implementing
the NHS plan” is given a series of priority ratings and respondents are
asked to select the one they feel is most appropriate. The survey can be found
on the Private-Rx website at www.private-rx.net/pharmacystrategy.
The results of the survey will be presented to a working group of pharmacy body
representatives being set up by the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee
to discuss a common policy to the plan.
