Children's Lemsip cold and 'flu sachets

Lemsip Children’s Six+ Cold and ’Flu Relief sachets (paracetamol 240mg and phenylephrine 2.5mg) have been launched by Reckitt & Colman. The company says that the general sale list product is recommended for the relief of headache, fever, aches and pains, sore throat and runny nose in children aged 6 to 12 years. One to two sachets should be taken every four hours, up to a maximum of eight sachets in 24 hours. The contents of one sachet should be poured into a glass which is then half filled with cold water and stirred before drinking. For a two sachet dose, the glass should be filled with water. The product is blackcurrant-flavoured and contains no added sugar (retail price, 10 £2.59).
