Videx (didanosine) EC capsules, a once daily treatment for HIV, have been launched by Bristol-Myers Squibb (see p476). The company says that the capsules should be taken at least two hours after food (net price, 30 125mg £55, 200mg £88, 250mg £110, 400mg £176).
