Moss Pharmacy has opened its second traditional format pharmacy at Oban on
the west coast of Scotland. The pharmacy, which has been owned by Moss for five
years, has been refitted in the style of an apothecary’s shop with antique
bottles and jars and dark wood fittings.
Moss
says that the traditional format is for branches which are in competition with
several other pharmacies in an area, aiming to offer customers a point of difference
both in appearance and product ranges stocked. The refurbished stores stock
complementary medicines, traditional and natural toiletries and beauty products.
A further nine traditional format pharmacies are planned.
