Famotidine tablets became available for sale outside pharmacies on October
4. Sales are limited packs containing no more than 12 tablets with a maximum
dose of 10mg and a maximum daily dose of 20mg (PJ, May 20, p745).
The maximum pack size of general sale list products containing bisacodyl rose
from 10 to 20 tablets and products containing no more than 1 per cent heparinoid
in packs of up to 20g to became GSL.
