Welsh prescription charge freeze?

Prescription charges in Wales could be frozen under an agreement negotiated between the Liberal Democrats and Labour which paves the way for a coalition-led National Assembly for Wales. Charges for 18- to 25-year-olds would be abolished under the same deal. The agreement was subject to ratification by Welsh Liberal Democrats at a meeting to be held on October 14, after The Journal went to press.
