POP award The Paediatric Oncology Pharmacists Group has made a £750 reseach award to Miss Clare Kelly and Mr David Harris of Bristol children’s hospital to study antifungal therapy in paediatric bone marrow transplantation.
HIVPA The HIV Pharmacy Association elected Mr David Ogden (HIV specialist pharmacist, Northwick Park hospital) as chairman at its recent annual general meeting. The meeting also confirmed the appointment of Lorna Cady, Liz Davies, June Minton and Nigel Brinklow to its steering committee.
