The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry has published two new
booklets for schools to explain the manufacture of modern medicines. The aim
of the booklets is to give students an overview of today’s modern manufacturing
processes and how pharmaceutical manufacturers in Britain overcome the challenge
of producing complex medicines to the highest quality standards.
Both booklets, accompanied by notes for teachers, are available free to schools
from the ABPI’s publications department at 12 Whitehall, London SW1A 2DY
