Society seeks new PJ editor

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society has started the search for a new editor for The Pharmaceutical Journal.
The post has been vacant since September 1, when Mr Douglas Simpson retired as PJ editor and editorial director of PJ Publications.
A full-page advertisement for the post appears in this week’s Journal. It says that the successful candidate will “ideally” be a pharmacist. The advertisement carries no salary figure for the post.
The Society has entrusted the recruitment task to a health care recruitment company, Talentmark, which is also advertising the job in the Guardian newspaper and in the pharmaceutical industry newsletter Scrip.
The closing date for applications is November 13.
