The Royal Pharmaceutical Society has started the search for a new editor for
The Pharmaceutical Journal.
The post has been vacant since September 1, when Mr Douglas Simpson retired
as PJ editor and editorial director of PJ Publications.
A full-page advertisement for the post appears in this weeks Journal.
It says that the successful candidate will ideally be a pharmacist.
The advertisement carries no salary figure for the post.
The Society has entrusted the recruitment task to a health care recruitment
company, Talentmark, which is also advertising the job in the Guardian newspaper
and in the pharmaceutical industry newsletter Scrip.
The closing date for applications is November 13.
