More than 500 members of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society visited the Society’s stand at the Pharmacy Live exhibition during this year’s Conference. As well as enjoying cappuccinos at the coffee bar, visitors were able to talk to Miss Amanda King (membership services manager) and Mrs Anne Adams (Pharmacy in a New Age co-ordinator).
Mrs Mary Snell (website editor) demonstrated the Society’s redesigned website (PJ, September 16, p402).

Over 100 representatives of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s branches attended a lunch organised by the Society’s membership services team at the British Pharmaceutical Conference on September 12. Mr Jean-Pierre Moser, the Society’s head of public relations and membership services, said after the lunch: “Being a new team, it is important that we meet with the membership in order to find out how we can best serve their needs. This year’s Conference offered the ideal opportunity to do just that with branch and regional representatives from around the country.”
“The membership team is committed to improving the support it offers to all Society branches and regions and is working hard to deliver this promise,” he said.
