Two websites aimed at pharmacists have made agreements to expand the content
of their sites.
Pharmalife (www.pharmalife.co.uk)
is to establish a medicines management and pharmaceutical care resource centre
on its website next year. The resource centre will contain details of key research
in the field as well as an online toolkit for pharmacists wishing to set up
their own medicines management or pharmaceutical care initiatives.
Pharmalife will be supported in this development by Mr Douglas Simpson,
FRPharmS, the recently retired editor of The Pharmaceutical Journal, a long-time
supporter of medicines management and pharmaceutical care as practice models
for pharmacists. Mr Simpson has become a member of Pharmalifes advisory
panel and will be offering advice on the range, quality and relevance of the
information provided.
Alliance Unichem Plc has signed an agreement with Netdoktor A/S to provide content
for its new e-business division, Pharmology.com, which is due to be launched
before the end of the year.
Under the agreement, which initially lasts for one year, Netdoktor will provide
professional and product information and a news service.
