Health authority pharmacy windows campaign

Two posters are to be displayed, one during October and the other in November

A pharmacy windows campaign to raise awareness of the introduction of CFC free inhalers is coming to an end in Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster health authority. A second campaign, on antibiotic resistance, is about to start.
Participating pharmacies have been paid £600 to display two posters. One, displayed during October, points out the differences that patients using aerosol inhalers may notice as their inhalers change. The second, to be displayed during November, gives the message that antibiotics do not work for colds and most coughs and sore throats.
Pharmacy customers are also to be encouraged to self-select from a range of health promotion leaflets or to ask the pharmacist for more information.
All pharmacists involved have had additional training on the campaign subjects and are to keep records of patient information leaflets taken and inquiries received as a result of the display of the posters.
